Reunion with old friends in the fabulous city of San Francisco.
Baker Beach, San Francisco.
Amigas.
Isabela.
Isa no. 2 (also coincidentally, possibly brand marketing for Corona).

Had to get in a couple quality selfies with this one.
Anita. Amazing to see this lovely superwoman along her journey of a lifetime bike ride from Austin to Alaska.
Beauty and colors on the street.
Cute couple in fedoras on the beach.
Beauties, Lisa and Tamilla. Brunch/Sunday Funday forever... Madre mia.
Feels good to be alive.
Katherine just graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering, so we took some photos in honor of that. A couple of flying pigs even made a guest appearance. If you can spot them, you win. Here's to you and your future endeavors, Katherine!
A Mexican publication called The Insighters published some of my photos in their April 2014 issue called "El arte como revolución". Check it out on page 32! Words and photos by yours truly.
:-)
There are so many questions to ask and observations to make when you walk around a city. It seems there's always a lot to learn from the walls. The older photos above were taken by my grandfather in the earlier years (probably late 50's) of Stroessner's military dictatorship in Paraguay. He ruled for thirty five years until 1989. The 25th anniversary of his regime's fall was in early February of this new year. There is still so much of that history that is not known, and it sure is not a sufficiently or widely studied one when it comes to Latin American History. Safe to say some remodeling has happened since those years. Now, below are photos that I took on my iPhone over Christmas break wandering around downtown Asunción. I think these walls also have stories to tell.
El Cosmico in Marfa. This is Lil' Pinky.
This road.
This is the first blog post on my new website. I suppose I will start blogging now. Will do my best to keep up with it. This will probably end up being the more informal place where I share photos taken on my phone and some words about anything I am inspired to say. So, here I will begin by sharing a few photos from my not-so-wintery-actually-quite-sweaty-Christmas break in West Texas and in Paraguay, captured on my iPhone.
If you haven't been to either place - highly recommended, my friends. My two home countries. Yes, you can have two. And, no, Texas is not technically a country, but sometimes it feels like one.
On the Rio Bravo (no tan bravo), cerca de Big Bend National Park.
En el Chaco Paraguayo.
Villa Hayes, PY.
Lindo dia con Athina en Areguá.
Mis primos, jugando.
Ok. Hasta pronto!
